Privacy Statement

The Pontifical Mission Societies are committed to ensuring that your privacy is respected. We do not sell or otherwise disclose any of our benefactors' personal details to other organisations.

Personal information the PMS collects from you

The PMS will only collect the personal information that you provide. For example if you wish to join one of the societies, make a donation or write us an email you will be asked to provide your contact details.  

From time to time we will track information about visits to the site through a tracking programme that shows how many visits each page receives.  We use this information to help us understand more about how our site is used and work on ways to improve it. This information is not linked to any of the visitors’ personal details.  

The PMS will not share your information with anyone else

The PMS will not pass your details on to any other organisation. We use your details only to communicate with you. All our benefactors’ details remain strictly confidential at all times in accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act.  

To change your personal contact details or stop receiving materials from the PMS

Please inform us of changes to your details, or if you want any or all of the Pontifical Mission Societies to stop sending you certain, or all, communications, we’ll amend your details as necessary. Any supporter can also request to see what personal data is being held about them. For any of these requests, please contact the APF, SPA or the PMU, details are given on the side menu of this page in ‘contact us’.
